But your personal requirements are specific to you alone.

bottomline, both are cameras, both are relatively new, are even both Nikons.

There are differences obviously, but both have strengths and weaknesses. Which you choose depends upon your needs. I would opt for choosing to have both.

Again, the question here isn't whether the N1 (and specific to me the V2) is worth the money. I obviously believe it is because I bought one, but whether the buying public believes it is.

Unfortunately they don't seem to share our opinion.
