I realize the modern pigment printers do a great job with black and white, including photos. I still want to work with a single black pigment cartridge. Maybe for photos but mostly scanned drawings that I would print in black pigment ink on fine art paper.

Anyone still doing BO printing? What printers are amenable to this? My guess is that many modern drivers don't allow BO to be selected? Thanks.

There are a couple of choices. Inkjetmall's ( CONE INKS ) Piezography all black inks usually meant for EPSON higher end printers. The sets come in cool, neutral, warm. You will need QuadTone RIP to print your images.

The second choice is from Inksupply. I have used it and it is very good and a lot cheaper.

Printing is done through the Printers's basic driver. You are shown what driver settings to use.
