HSS with a *single* YN622 transceiver and YN-568EX? (moved)
(this post was originally in "Accessories", but I realized it was the wrong subforum)
I'm looking for my first decent flash system and I've ingested a lot of information recently, so excuse me if there's some errors in my information or terminology.
I'm shooting towards a cheap system that would enable me to do HSS with an off-camera flash. The YN-568EX seems like a good candidate for that, but to trigger it remotely I need either a wireless transceiver or a long hotshoe extension cord.
So my question is: to utilize the HSS functionality of the flash in the wireless scenario, do I need to buy a pair of YN622 transceivers or is one enough since the flash has the "wireless slave" functionality built-in which means I just need one for the body?
My guess is I do need two of them - one for the sending end and one for the receiving end, but I would prefer to be sure before I start buying stuff
Thanks in advance!
