UGH !. Very sorry to hear this. No wonder you were "missing in action".

But as two other fine gentlemen before me have said, shooting photos can help keep the mind off the pain, and that helps to reduce the pain a bit.

And Paul's advice is also good - think about reducing the weight of camera and lens. Every little bit will help.

Sierra, I too have wondered why you haven't been participating in the challenges lately. I miss seeing your entries! Take care of yourself and participate when you can. And even if you can't enter something in a challenge, at least let us know how you're doing. Hang in there! - Ken
 
Thank you to everyone for showing your concerns about my health, it is nice to know my favorite photography group will always be here. And now you all know I didn't just get bored of the challenges =)
 
but I am in Arizona with very limited internet access for this week. I'll add a few brief comments when I can.

The galleries look great.

I'm sitting in Big Mac land right now, and will hope to be here daily.

Anyway - I'll get a voting thread up Weds am (AZ time), unless someone else can get it up Tues night when it starts.
 
Sierra, you have a wonderful presence and you're a wonderful person.

Best of luck to both(and Trav) of you on your journeys. Thanks for including us in it. Hope to see you posting some new pics! Photography and this group was there when I needed it.
