I have been using Nikon gear large and medium formats for 35 years. I shot a wedding today using the Nikon D4 and took the Olympus with me. I have stopped using the flash since the introduction of the D3.

I do not think the Olympus will replace the D4 for weddings or low light photography but I think it can replace my nex7 for daylight, travel and street photography.

If I were in your place, with your equipment, I might agree. My biggest complaint of my own Wedding Photography was simply that I was carrying too much -- and I was sometimes not able to keep up with the flow of the B&G with all the moves to different locations (I work alone). I'm thinking that if a Wedding appears to be one where the locations are varied & close together, that an M4/3 kit might be better choice than cases of DSLRs & lenses. What are your thoughts on replacing everything with a M4/3's system? I'm looking at the GX7.

I looked at Panasonic's M4/3 lenses briefly, and they have Pro lenses 24-70/f2.8; 70-200/f2.8; 40mm/f1.7; fisheye; 90mm macro, etc., and more. Do you suspect Wedding clients and/or competition would rule in favor of FF DSLS's over an M4/3 GX7 + Pro-lenses for Weddings?
