Out of my manual focus lenses, my Tamron 24mm F2.5 01bb iis still pretty good and quite sharp, probably because it's a later lens with more modern coatings. It's also very versatile in the cross platform sense. Two others that I find pretty useful are my Minolta MD 50 1.4 (but has to be stopped down (to F2 usually) to minimize the halation, and my Tamron 90mm F2.5 SP Macro with it's 2X flat field converter (it's very sharp, like many macro lenses, with good contrast and color) which I'm pretty much just trying to get the 'hang' of, finding that macro photography takes lots of patience and is not easy...and has given me much respect for good macro photographers. Some of the others I have are fun to use, feel good, but aren't as good as more modern lenses (especially the zooms).
