Would Sigma 150-500 work with my A57?

Does Sigma 150-500 Sony version (mount) needs an adapter to fit mi "alpha" A57?

Thanks in advance.

Ed

It will work just fine, no adapters required. If you have any A-mount lens and any A-mount camera they will fit together like a round peg in a round hole.

You'll have to get used to 4.4 lbs of lens hanging off the end of your camera. Practice, practice, practice.

Thanks, happy to know that.

What about real life ouput of this eventual A57 + Sigma 150-500 combination. Any samples?

Ed

Most of the shots here are with the Sigma 150-500 but on the A77 or a few with the A850. I find the lens is sharp @ f8.

For carrying I use a Black Rapid strap and connect it to the tripod foot of the camera. Makes it a *lot* easier to haul around.
