Comparing formats never helps, I have the Nikon d800 and the 200mm F2.0 which is arguably the sharpest lens Nikon ever made, this combination was impossible to use in such a location when you are shooting amidst a revolution. I did what I think is a nice work with my newly acquired m4/3 gear and wrote my impressions on the lens I bought. I really don't understand why the thing turned to understanding technical terms and I know you don't type of debate. The only message I am trying to give here is that you should be open minded and use all formats to their fullest potential as their is a need for all of them at some point in time.

I love that lens too. It is so incredibly sharp. On parr with my legacy Zeiss Contax G 45mm F2 when it comes to sharpness. My only regreat is that the focal length is a bit long for me, I'd prefer if it was a 45mm (aka 90mm equivalent).

As for all the babble concerning equivalence, what a deception to see this potentially nice thread turning in the usual fight about equivalence. I can't believe it : what gratification can they get by repeating their doctoral lessons over and over ? May be they need it in order to feed their superiority complex.

Your picture is great ! you made that man look like a statue of revolution..

Here is one of mine hopefully showing why I like that lens too :
