For you, but that's because you are somebody else than me. You have a different vision and your brain works differently, so that eventually you will find a focal lens or a set of focal lens (zoom) that will match your brain which will become in turn your vision.

For me, the 70-200 is fantastic, it matches my way of looking at things... It has become my style. I use it a lot for street photography. I rarely change the lens.

Did you miss the part where I said "I guess it depends on the style of shooting, and what you shoot."?

When I said "not very flexible", I meant ability to shoot in many different situations, not just street photography or closeups. However one's brain works, a minimum 70mm (112mm) focal length will make it difficult to get shots of a many different subjects that are - wide. Glad it works for you, though.
