Re: Glad to explain [Re: Amazing lens, incredible sharpness]

Please do! I took a look at your website, but no stage samples there. Please start a new thread with those samples -- I am sure it would be very interesting for everyone.

After all, stage photography is supposed to be one of the main subjects of the 75/1.8.

I have a second website dedicated to stage and concert photography. It is still under construction so I don't officially publish it yet but you can see the idea of what we do at http://www.musicalpix.com

Some nice photos there (I liked the 2nd one with the black musician with the bass).

But -- with all due respect -- classical musicians don't move at all. And the lighting is abundant and constant. Also, most of your shots are posed and heavily post-processed.

Can you or someone else post a sample of using the 75/1.8 at a jazz/rock concert with un-predictable movement and ever-changing light? Just as they come out of the camera?

Here is another sample of the GH1 with the manually focused Canon FD 50/1.4 with me being constantly bumped by the dancing crowd:

Victor Wooten shot with GH1 and the manually focused Canon FD 50/1.4 at 1.7

Please post photos better than this, or the previous one under these conditions.
