Trying to convince all of you that short focal length lenses are better "bug lenses" than long focal length lenses. It's actually easier to shoot with a short working distance -easier to control motion when shooting hand held, and easier to get good light because the diffuser is close to the subject. All of the images in this tread (and my gallery) were taken hand held, and all are single frames (no focus stacking). Anyone can take images like these -just takes practice.
