What is your photo supposed to show?
And what is yours suppose to show except the fact that you have used a different lens to produce a mediocre photograph?

My photo was taken by an amateur with a m43 $200 obsolete 2 generations old body and a $50 legacy lens which has a close FOV and a similar F-stop to the 75/1.8 lens.
I agree, but that doesn't prove anythin and is completely OT. I can show you some of my stage xamples shot with a P&S camera and they look tons better.
The original poster's photo was taken with the latest OM-D for $999 with the much advertised 75/1.8 for $899.
I agree too, but that only proves that the poster doesn't know how to take good stage photos no mater what gear he is using. It has absolutely nothing to do with the said lens.
But still, my mediocre photo is both technically and artistically better than the original poster's photo.
Maybe but I was not comparing your photo to his. On an absolute basis, sorry but I do not see any artistic merits or tecnical excellence in your example
So I don't see the advantages of having the 75/1.8 on any m43 body for stage photos.
I understand that but you don't see because you don't do any stage photography on a serous basis and probably don't know much about it either.
Always glad to explain the obvious to a supposedly professional photographer.
I saw nothing obvious here but thank you, that is much appreciated. As an exchange, when I'm back at my main computer, I'll be glad to post some stage samples so you wouls see why this lens is so very much important for serious stage and concert photography.
Cheers
