Do you actually own a four thirds or micro four thirds camera, or do you only post in these forums to try and start equivalence arguments?
What part of the "argument" offended you. Was it when I said:
It's either a 75mm f/1.8 or 150mm f/3.6 FF equivalent, but not a 150mm f/1.8 -- that would be a rather larger, heavier, and more expensive lens (think the Olympus 150 / 2).
Or was it when I said:
Ironic, by the way, that your pic is at 75mm f/5, though.
Or, perchance, was it when I said:
It's a stellar lens for those that want a 75 / 1.8.
'Cause, from where I'm sitting, if your upset enough about any of those comments to actually take the time and "effort" to post what you did, presumably, 'cause you think they're some sort of disparagement of mFT, then, well, that's another problem that needs to be sorted out.
However, never one to duck a direct question, I'll give you a direct answer: no, I do not own any mFT equipment. And? I mean, does that have any bearing on the veracity of my comments? Or perhaps you think it has some bearing on my "right" to post here, like when Americans get upset when foreigners comment on their politics.
That said, I strongly considered the EM5, however, and am still debating if I might not get it, or the EP5 some time in the future. On the other hand, I've recently heard rumors of FF NEX, so it will be interesting to see what comes of that.
Of course, none of this is either here or there, is it? After all, plenty here (and everywhere else) comment about equipment they never used. More than that, I've seen comments by some people about equipment I have used, and let's just say that, on occasion, they don't have a clue, so having used the equipment is no guarantee, or even predictor, of knowledgeable input.
So, what about you? Do you own the 75 / 1.8? 'Cause if so, I'd have thought your time would have been better spent agreeing or disagreeing with the OP, maybe even posting a pic or to. If not, well, let's just say that, either way, it seems that what you really want is "entertainment" -- I find that to be more common than not, actually.
