With a super fast card, the right settings, I can can squeeze off almost 100 frames @60fps on my V1.

Thats a lie. You CANT squeeze 100 frames @ 60fps in the V1.

On-going testing, but 40 frames is just too short for most any decent clip. It does show the capability to get high quality video from individual still photos.

Just a very serious amateur for over 55 years.

Those 3 videos were made with 30 frames, not 40, in a V1. 40 frames are enough for a ~2 second clip, that can be stretched to 4,5,10,20 seconds if you want. Most good videos are made with small 2-5 second clips.

So 40 frames is more than enough for making nice videos. Its not an all around video camera, but it works well.

EXAMPLES (shot in a V1 with only 30 frames @ 4K RAW 4:4:4):

BTW, your SD card is slooow. If you want to work with 4K RAW videos, try a 80MB/s+ Class 10
