Maybe I'm using I'm using the tool incorrectly? Maybe Nikon 16-35 f4 is just crap?

Has anyone else found this site's comparison, questionable?

Instead of playing with Internet web sites, maybe I need to just rent the beast & see what it does in real world conditions?

This site has not agreed with the results that I see from my own lenses. I have heard that it tends to favour Canon lenses, and either on purpose or by accident due to test methodology causes other brands to look bad, but I can't give any reliable sources for that tidbit, so take it with a grain of salt.

Regardless, as I said, my experience with a number of lenses, both Nikon and third party, do not agree with this site.

I would recommend looking at SLR Gear ( ). While they are not perfect themselves (I don't think that any site can quantitatively model all aspects of any lens, and that is not even taking into account things like sample variation), their results tend to match mine quite closely. Photozone ( ) is another site which I find similar to my results, although they don't have quite as many lenses as some other sites do.

Hope this helps.
