Opinions on potential damage from holster type bags?
I have a Tamrac Aero 3330 holster bag that I bought a few years ago but have never used. I recently found that my Sony A77 with 16-50 lens fits perfectly in the bag. However, I can't help but be a bit concerned that the heavy body weight of the A77 will put a lot of stress on the lens and potentially cause some damage. (I currently use a Nikon bag that holds the camera and lens horizontally). Am I being illogical with this concern, or do you think there is some validity to the idea that the lens could become damaged? Thanks all.
