That may be true for you but not necessarily for others who will compose knowing that they'll want to crop later. There is nothing wrong with this approach when one has so many pixels

This new anti-crop law is just non sense. Not surprising it comes mostly from Canon fans who get very defensive that the 5D III does not have as much resolution as the D800. Well, relax. The 5D3 has decent crop ability capabilities and many other qualities besides. Besides, aren't you all predicting a new super duper high resolution Canon FF camera being just round the corner ? I wonder why so many Canon fans seem so eager for this camera. After all you've just explained that it's bad form to crop a picture after the taking
