Re: Samsung NX20 vs Sony A58

It does seem a lot of extra money to pay to lose the viewfinder in my mind. The NX300 has pretty much been stripped to the carcass with no mirror, viewfinder, stabilisation, accessory port, microphone jack or built-in flash. With an A58 you get all these things bar the accessory port at a substantial discount to the NX300 in the UK at least.

The world of mirrorless is outstandingly poor value for money and should only be entered if you have plenty of money or weight is absolutely paramount. Not the manufacturers fault as they have to keep margins high to counter poor sales volumes but you are subsidising this.

So in your photography philosophy was all about "Value for money" instead of "Performance"?

So you are suggesting that every photographer should buy every brand camera with 1 generation behind for the better value for money philosophy of yours?

I'm fine with that, but good luck to you.
