New Olympus f/2.8 zoom coming

According to "Olympus will launch their first f/2.8 constant aperture zoom. The lens is said to have a better performance than the Panasonic 12-35mm X lens!":

That is excellent news, of course.

I have just one concern: I guess the lens will not have, like all Olympus lenses, a stabilization system, which will be fine with Olympus bodies. But for Panasonic camera users, of past and maybe future models (assuming that not all future Pany bodies will have the GX7 IS system) it could - could - be a problem: I still have a GH1 in my arsenal, and might of course buy a Panasonic camera sometimes in the future.
What do you think?

Please note this is not a brand "war" since I own, like (and use ) both Olympus and Panasonic gear.
