Strange water formation in long exposure

Yes, I considered that in the early days of this thread, but couldn't make it work as an explanation.

That is somewhat similar to my earlier post:

"My best guess is a shiny coin tossed into the water, catching the sun as it rotates."

You would see something between each... "catch", but there's no trace of motion between the positions.

I'm truly baffled.

Bigfoot was hiding near the edge of the stream and was shining a strobe light across the stream and the stream tossed up a single drop of water along and arc there from time to time. Bigfoot is the master of mystery in photography!

More likely a UFO alternating between visible and invisible mode.
