I don't think anyone is saying they ONLY have prints. We have both...

Do you have a printer at home? Buy some 4x6 photo paper and print some of your favorite images. Put them in a book for viewing, or post them on your fridge or on your wall. Just try it. I bet you'll enjoy physically viewing them.

I think people might discuss photos in terms of print being the final product because usually you want to print a photo only after its top notch. So, naturally people might discuss photos along terms of printability.
