Just got my X-M1
1

As a devoted Fuji fan (I still love my S5 Pro), I wanted badly to own either the X-E1 or the X-Pro 1, but couldn't afford to buy one. Thankfully, the cheaper X-M1 solve that problem.

Beside not having the luxury of a viewfinder, so far so good. I still prefer the firm grip of a SLR, but I will get use to it. I might eventually buy a Hoodman loupe as a poor man viewfinder...

My only complaint, but it's a major one, as nothing to do with the camera, but with the lousy RAW converter included (from Silkypix).

When converted with the manufacturer software, a JPEG converted from a RAW file should be a clone from the in-camera JPEG, at least colors and levels wise. It's far from the case here. Thankfully, I can use the in-camera RAW converter, but it's kind of an hassle.

On the many good sides, ISO is great up to 6400 (especially when compared with the S5 Pro) and colors are superb.

As an example, here's a (untouched) photo I took yesterday, at 6400 ISO in a darken theater.

With my S5 Pro for well lighted shot, and the X-M1 for indoors, and think I am in good hands.
