Are you talking about the original 8mm or the f/2.8 compact version?

I don't see it either - there were some people who were having vingetting issues but others said no. I can see how those who put adapters on this lens, in an attempt to use it on multiple cameras, might have those problems.

As for CA issues, the NEX-7 sensor seems to have them in a variety of situations and with a variety of lenses.
