NX100 with Flipbac silicone grip

Hi,

I just wanted to share my experience with the Flipbac silicone grip.

I like my NX100 but it's ergonomics is not the top of the class. I've been using the Franiec grip on my Canon S95 and very satisfied with it so I contacted Richard to see if the custom grip for the Olympus E-PL3/E-PM1 would fit the NX100, unfortunately, it would not (probably because of the protrusion of the top plate).

So I went looking for other grips on the market to improve the camera hold and found this:

It's really great, definitely improves the hold of the camera. Comfortable to use and makes easier to pull the camera out of it's bag. (Still doesn't feel like handling a Nikon D3 but does the trick for me.)

Nota bene, it's made of silicone which makes it less slippy (compared to aluminium or plastic).
It uses a 3M high bond adhesive, according to the manufacturer the grip can be removed or replaced without damaging the surface of the camera, I haven't tested that yet.

The grip could be a tad bigger as it's designed mostly for compact cameras, but definitely a worthy upgrade. (Unexpensive as well, I paid £9 including shipping from China/HongKong to the UK.)

I can recommend it to every NX100 user!
