Motor noise through internal mic in video on the NX1000
Jul 27, 2013
So I've been eying theNX1000 since the price has dropped. While I'm not crazy about the size of the 20-50 it looks very capable.
I've seen a few videos where the internal mic was picking up a lot of buzzing from the AF, but saw just as many that seemed to be fine. Since my main move will be to grab short videos of the kids amidst shooting stills where I don't have my bigger camera that's pretty important. I'm ok with manual foucs, but outside when it's hard to see the screen that's iffy and I want to be sure my wife can auto it.
How do you all find the noise to be? Have any samples posted to show how bad it is or lack thereof?
I appercaite the help since this seems like too good a near pocketable camera and lens relative to the other options to pass up at this price. Ideally I'd like to get it with a pancake prime, but it doesn't look like there's anything in the market so it would take lens selling and buying so I am trying to figure it out before I get into all that if I'm not going to wind up in a good spot.
