Definitely the 16ish to 55ish 2.8. I used a 17-50 2.8 Tamron with my A700 and it hardly ever came off of the camera. My sel3518 is now my primary lens, and I hardly ever use the kit zoom. I faster normal zoom would become my walk around lens with the 35 being used strictly for low light situations.

That 55-150 is going to cost quite a bit.

If the 55-200 is $349, I would suspect the 55-150 F2.8 to go for at least $999 (and that's being optimistic).

The Sigma APO 50-150mm F2.8 EX DC OS HSM has an msrp of $1,650, and seems to be selling around $1k. I can't imagine a Sony version being any cheaper than that.

Check the link, the Sigma weighs in at 1.4kg (47oz), 200/85mm (77mm thread).

So? That lens is not made for a small mirrorless camera, and it is not a fast tele zoom lens.

The 55-150 F2.8 G lens will at LEAST be $1000, but I'm thinking more towards $1200-$1300.
