My last digital camera.

Hello all, I’m 53 years old and I am looking to buy my last digital camera.

I've been shooting film for 37 years and own a small Nikon digital camera.

My film camera is a 1982 Pentax LX but I want to switch over to Nikon.
The lens that I mainly use on the Pentax is a 135mm (f/3.5) and sometime a 300mm (f/3.5).

I mostly shoot abstract architecture, abstract city scenes (grit and grime), and maybe a person here and there.
I also shoot a lot of low light/night images (inside of bars, alleys, etc.)
I don't shoot any nature.
This is what I am thinking on getting:

    1. Nikon D800
    2. Nikon - AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VRII Lens

I love the ISO Sensitivity of the D4 and I would probably use this feature but I don't think that I can justify the extra cost.

I’m hoping that the f/2.8 of the 70-200mm lens will compensate for the lack of ISO on the D800.

Nikon D800 (ISO Sensitivity 100 - 6400, Expandable to 25600)
Nikon D4 (ISO Sensitivity Auto, 200 - 12800, Expandable to 204800)

I haven’t shot any video, but if I get this new camera I will explore the possibilities.

What do you think?

The video capabilities of the new Nikons would also be something that I might explore.
If you need more information or think that I should go in another direction let me know.
