I view Yellowstone as an attraction park and Grand Tetons as a scenery park. Can I assume you will also be visiting Grand Tetons.

For scenery, nothing can beat the 15-85 and that extra 20% of width over the 18-xxx. Also, the 15-85 is pretty much sharp thoughout. A pro calibre lens.

For well under 10% of the time you'll want a long lens for wildlife. The 135mm won't be anywhere near enough.

I had 55-250 and recently found that it front-focused. It would have cost more to adjust it than to buy a new one.

I took the opportunity to buy a 70-300L. Heavier to carry and use but 20% longer and the results are amazing.
