Why mirrorless over dslr?

Easy choice for me...

DSLR: Large, nice grip, big battery life, huge buffer, handles better with long lenses, built-in stabilization, excellent tracking focus

Mirrorless: Small, nice grip, lightweight, adapts to any manual lens, fun for manual and rangefinder-style shooting, matches IQ of DSLR, can fit camera plus 4-6 lenses in same space as DSLR with 1 lens.

Solution: one of each.  Perfect for me.
