If you shoot action/sports, fast movings subjects/news, anything that demands the best for catching the moment, the EVFs and AF of the mirrorless simply does not cut it.

The EVFs cant keep up with fast sustained shooting, the AF on moving subjects is lacking (except for for Sony SLT-series which uses PDAF), the limited DR is disturbing in high contrast scenes, you get motion blur in the viewfinder, etc.

But I agree on the size matter. Todays DSLRS are on the big/heavy side. Ideally I would like FF DSLRs the size of of the classics SLRs, like Nikon FM/FE, Olympus OM, etc

Well, if shooting action/sports is an important part of your shooting, you are simply not using the best tools if you are using mirrorless.
