DSLRs are more camera than I need.

Here is what i do not need:

- Mirror boxes and continuous-tracking autofocus.

Single shot and burst AF are good enough for me.

- Optical viewfinders.

EVF is superior for my purposes as I can easily see the exposure.

- Bulky lenses.

I like small lenses.

- Bulky cameras.

And small cameras.

- APS-C and full frame sensors.

A 4/3 sensor with a 1.8 aperture at portrait lengths is just the right depth-of-field for portraits of my family.

My camera also has a lot of features lacking in most or all DSLRs, such as full-time face detection, electronic viewfinders, electronic level, histogram blinkies, image stabilization, touch screens, touch autofocus and more.

Mirrorless cameras, 4/3 in particular have the features size, lenses and image quality that I want for trip photos and family photos.

All this in a tiny bag, what is not to like?
