Worth a trip to South Africa to buy the lens at the price you got it for. I want one but have not been able to see one at a price I'm willing to pay.

Yeah, that lens WILL improve your results, although I see little to complain about with what I've seen of your work. I STILL believe we'll eventually see something from Oly that will allow us to use these marvelous lenses and upgrade the IQ they so richly deserve. Let us see some of your results ASAP.

Thanks Bobby

As to the South Africa thing I think that is where my good fortune came in as South Africa she is not big on Olympus so there where no takers on that lens. It had been up on the site for nearly a month and the best offer the seller had got was a thousand Dollars I paid the sellers asking price.  I took the lens out today on the E-30  and realise there is a learning curve with this lens. Typically I banged on the EC20 and banged away. Well the focus was all over the place . I should have done the calibration first. I also have to modify my technique to compensate for  the weight.

As to something new well we will have to wait and see. This lens purchase has set me up for awhile new camera or not.
