Re: Truly versatile compact camera

Thanks for your impressions of the LF1. I used Panasonic ZS series for years as my field camera when I'm out with my setters. Very nice cameras, with great features, but I REALLY missed having an EVF.

So, I bought the Canon G15. It's a very nice camera and would work well for most people. For me, it just doesn't do the job.

My G15 problems that I hope to solve with the LF 1:

1.It's a small camera, but much too heavy for a shirt pocket.

2. The OVF is usable, but has no display of a focus square. It's like looking through a small window.

3. The burst modes are very slow, practically worthless, can't catch a dog retrieving.

My questions for owners of the LF 1, that I can't find answers for in specs or reviews:

1. Does the EVF display the focus square, shutter speeds etc?

2. What is the fastest full resolution burst speed with autofocus?

3. Is there a slow speed movie option?

Thanks for any input about what looks like a truly fine shirt pocket camera.
