To people that own 70-200 2.8 is II and 24-70 2.8 II

And if you add a 2xIII to the perfect 70-200 II you have an excellent combo;

you may find in time that these will be mostly the only lenses you'll be using, yes, they're that good (ignore all comments like "my 70-200 4 is so much better", or "24-105 is so a better lens, plus IS..."

simply put: if you afford them they will replace anything else you may have in their respective focal length.

+1. Yep, I had the f4s and while they were good lenses the 2.8 IIs beat them everywhere except in the weight and price departments. My preferred walk around lens is my 100-400f4.5-5.6L IS............on bright sunny days, but I find myself using the 70-200f2.8L IS II more and more lately. Use the 24-70f2.8L II 25% of the time and the 16-35f2.8L II, oophs forgot I even had a 16-35f2.8L II.
