Shooting for two rival companies for the same competition

Hi everybody.

I have a dilemma that has to be solved ASAP.

A few weeks ago I done a fashion photo shoot for a hair dressing company/chain (A) and they want to work with me again on other project of theirs. Though non of the shots I done for them been publicly revealed as they were done for a competition.

Today, another company (B), their major competitor in the city, approached me and asked to take shots for the same competition that will happen in September. They don't know about my other job I done for the company A. So, I haven't said yes to them yet.

What is this photographer's ethics in this case? Can I do two jobs independently, without letting them know about each other, or shall I say NO the the B company?

Alex
