The X100S is a fine machine, but not being able to change lenses isn't what concerns me. The problem is dust on the sensor. With the X-E1, cleaning can be performed at any time. This isn't an option with the X100S. You may get lucky and get it cleaned under warranty, but if you aren't so fortunate, you'll be spending  extra time with the clone tool in PS.
