Issues with 16mm after FW update 1.14 on NX1000
Issues with 16mm after FW update 1.14 on NX1000
Jul 12, 2013
Hi,
I report that 16mm pancake has a infinity issu when used with NX1000 with new FW 1.14.
With FW 1.13 version 16mm lens was working smoothly but after installation of the new FW on NX1000 I lost infinity focus. At close distance up to 3 meters it works but at infinity it doesn't. Another weird thing is that 16mm pancake's AF now is more loud and it does focus more slowly than before and overall behavior is very weird.
I tried to check on NX10, 16mm works fine. I tried another primes 30mm and 45mm on both NX10 and NX1000 they work smoothly. So NX1000 with 1.14 FW seems not be compatible with 16mm lens.
I hope Samsung will fix this fw issue rapidly because I need 16mm for my summer vacation.
Want to know if anyone else here does experience the same problem as I do?
