I found the OMD to be a fantastically sharp camera in RAW with a superb JPG engine but neither the DR nor high ISOs to match the Canon 18Mp sensor let alone the Sony and Toshiba ones in the latest Nikons and Fujis

I've been shooting with the M for the last two days, using the 22mm F/2.0 and it's a nice camera, but the sensor is definitely average for APS-C, and definitely behind the OMD-5, if anything I think the DxO ratings are a bit generous in the M's favor, however, considering the price of $299 including the F/2.0 lens it's an absolute bargain and I would recommend it based on overall value since it's not worth spending double or triple on the OMD-5 to get the little bit of extra performance.

Agreed, even though it's average it's still capable of excellent results, I just got my EF-M 18-55mm, colour me impressed, a very nice kit lens exceeding the standard from what I'm seeing so far.
