Touch screens on a laptop will be next to useless for photoshop and related work.

You need an active WACOM BASED STYLUS WITH COMPATIBLE SOFTWARE DRIVERS to work properly. Note my emphasis, do your research before purchasing, so many devices come with pressure sensitive styluses that won't work on popular apps and sony (as an example) is useless at keeping it's software up to date.
