650D (T4i) and 70-200 f/4 L (NON-IS): I like this combo!

Hi folks,

After some consideration, I bought the Canon 70-200mm f/4 L (NON-IS). I decided to go for this lens mainly because of its price (the IS version costs twice as much!), and because it's the lightest of all the 70-200 Canon lenses. And I am very happy with this combo!

Here some pictures I took yesterday morning, when I had the riverside almost to myself ... well, I was the only human, and then there were a lot of ducks and swans who enjoyed the sun. And, all of sudden, this family arrived and decided to get out of the water less than a metre away from me:

If this is not cute, I don't know what is!!

A few minutes later, they cuddled together and took a nap:

Cuddled together for a nap.

And inbetween these pictures, I was surprised by a landing swan. I know I should have chosen a shorter shutter speed, but there simply was no time to change the settings, and most of the pictures are not bad (I think):

Attention Tower ...

Landing gear is ready.

This picture is blurred, I know ...

Touchdown!

Really graceful

Aah, another successful landing

This is about how "wild" the Swiss wildlife gets ...

Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed. If you feel like leaving a comment, please do so fairly.

Cheers, Kurt
