Eyepiece disintegrated last week after 6 months use - awaiting delivery of new one. Apart from that very satisfied.

Silly little rubber thing that does work, but tends to start coming of if rubbed against a few times. May require an electric or-double-sided tape fix like that I use on the E-5's slide off one.

U-shaped plastic shield around the accessory port can also pop-off (and that of the PL-5 slide off)

so similar applications of high tech ;- may be appropriate.

To respond to the OP, you are going to get such minor annoyances,  as well as somewhat fiddly, less robust-feeling buttons on such a much smaller and lighter camera.

BUT having just spent a week in Buenos Aires, and another in Rio de Janeiro, and sorting through k's of images, I can certainly attest that the OM-D is an immensely capable photographic instrument, especially when you add the brilliant little 12/2, 45/1.8 and 75/1.8 lenses as I did (along with the 12-50 and Panasonic 45-200).  Worked for everything from dark Tango stages to nature macros and city sunset panoramas. Superbly.  And it was MUCH better for candids and dicey areas than any DSLR would hAVE BEEN.

That whole outfit - which also included and Pen PL5, batteries, falsh, etc travelled with me virtually everywhere, in a slim, inconspicuous dark green Domke F-5XC bag, which provided virtually instant access to everything. 75% of my shots were with the OM-D, about 20% with the PL-5.

An 5% with the E-5, which mostly stayed in the hotel rooms.

Photography is a small voice, at best, but sometimes one photograph, or a group of them, can lure our sense of awareness.
