USA Today article on m43 sales

I don't normally read USA Today but this article  appeared in my Google "olympus camera" alert. Its actually a pretty fair article. What I think it misses is a subtle underlying cultural issue: we Americans want to use main-brand "pro" equipment for fear of being seen as a dilletant (somewhere along the line "ameture" became a dirty word in the American lexicon, precisely the opposite of its original usage). I suspect this not true or as true in Asia. This is not to say marking does not play a big role.

For the sake of disclosure, I use an Oly kit, but I appreciate quality gear from any manufacturer.
