NX1000 in manual mode?

Hello all,

I currently have Nex3 and shoot almost always with a Minolta Rokkor 45mm f2.0 manual lens. While I'm satisfied with the results I get from that combo, I find myself missing the AF from time to time. For the typical stuff I shoot for myself AF is of little importance, but documenting the growing of my daughter can be challenging from time to time. Here i cannot buy Sony's pancake zoom; ordering it from abroad, plus shipping and customs would in the end be the same as buying NX1000 and 20-50 kit lens (which is on sale right now here).

I went to play a little with NX1000 in a camera store, but the battery died out after about two minutes, so I didn't get to test all I'm interested in. Can someone please tell me how NX1000 behaves in manual mode? It's the way I like to shoot, so  I'm specifically curious about it.

I believe that 20-50mm is I-function lens. Can I customize it so I would be changing aperture by pressing the I-function button (and rotating back control dial) and control the shutter speed by just rotating the back wheel?

I believe NX1000 has a live histogram; but does the screen also gives the accurate preview of exposure, changing the brightness according to change of exposure parameters (my Nex3 does it fairly well).

Can I program one button to directly access ISO and thus have immediate control of the three basic parameters of image? If so, I would be set for my style of shooting. Having another for WB would be nice, but is not essential as I shoot RAW.

If I decide to go this route, I would be getting 30mm f2.0 in the future as it is another reason swinging me towards Samsung. It's smaller and a stop brighter than Sigma 30mm f2.8 I contemplate getting for my Nex3.

Thanks!
