Re: +1, Photos are RAW.

When the A100 was introduced the photos needed some tweaking, some of the times. It was at that time I started shooting RAW only. I shoot 15,000/20,000 per yr. at the racetrack. Every 20-30 seconds another shoot. Sometimes just don't have the time to get them picture perfect. RAW allows me some latitude to correct some issues after the fact that would otherwise be lost to Jpegs processing. I use either LR4 or  camera raw in CS6. It boils down to one thing, are you happy w/your results? Shooting on a sun shiny day w/sun behind you and now reflective surfaces jpegs are probably ok to shoot. But with RAW I can do so much to photos I'm scared not to shoot RAW.
And yes I felt the same way as you and the forum convinced me of the advantages of shooting RAW.

My A77 I get better results w/RAW than I do w/Jpegs alone. JOMHO
