I use my Singh-Ray CPLs a lot on both my 24-105L zoom and the 100L macro (with a thread adapter). I would never think of shooting waterfalls, forests and fungi without one. Doesn't matter if I'm shooting for HDR, blending or grad filters, I automatically put it on.

I have used them for panoramas but you have to really watch for the dark patches in the sky. That's when you gotta take it off.
