Acorn photo editor
I have been looking for a relatively simple photo editor to use to do things Aperture and Lightroom will not do - mostly layers for selective editing. I have tried Topaz's photoFXlab and the Topaz plugins and that works, but not well with Lightroom. In fact returning a tiff image from photoFXlab back to Lightroom took 88 seconds on my MacBook Pro. I timed it.
I found Acorn and downloaded a trial version from their website. It looks like it might fit my needs, but I was wondering if it was an 8 bit or 16 bit editor. Nothing I saw on their website said so I thought I would ask here. Does anyone know?
