Well that depends on what ISO you are going to shoot and what you are going to do with the pictures. I wouldn't print big with anything greater than 1600 ISO with the OMD E-M5. There may be differing opinions with that but not even with Lightroom noise reduction.

In other words if you want killer high quality landscapes the OMD E-M5 will let you down over 1600 ISO.

As far as performance the OMD E-M5 is excellent. Super fast focusing and image stabilization like no one else.

The a99 weighs 733g and is very lightweight for what it delivers. If you could live with 35mm and the price the RX1 will blow you away at even 6400 ISO. I know you didn't mention those but that's what I would take give I was going to buy something. The Xpro1 is also really good at high ISO but the focusing will be a problem.

I have never been crazy about Canons dynamic range.
