Imaging Resource thinks RX100II more than one full stop better than old one!

The difference in IQ is minimal, if it exists at all

The RX100 II may have a slightly better sensor, but all test charts I have seen indicate a very slight advantage in high ISO JPGs, but then the new engine uses more aggressive NR, and some low ISO jgs are even worse than RX100 - since I only shoot in RAW, I assume the difference to be irrelevant.

Perhaps there is some advantage for video, but I haven t come across low light video samples.

- the main selling point IMO is the articulated screen. That alone may be worth the money.
