Is AutoFocus more practice than manualfocus?

I think both take practice. Primarilly in getting the most out of your equipment.

I tend to have my body set to SAF+MF when using native lens and get a grab shot then reshoot fine tuning the focus myself.  With Legacy or adapted lens well thats simple try to nail focus.

I will tell you the M4/3 contrast detect AF is 10 providing more keepers than PDAF did in the past for me especially in portraits.
