What do I lose with the A37?

Decided to try a STL for use with any SAL lens we have with our NEX kit (7/EA2/SEL1018, SEL24F18, SAL1680Z, SAL500F80, SAL70300G).  Primary purpose is for 500mm Reflex use in northern climates.  IS makes the f8 limitation of the 500 far less limiting . . . in Florida light, not much of a problem, but up north, no so.

Size/weight is the reason we sold the D7000 kit and have been very happy since.  Two days into the A37 test and all seems good.  What am I missing compared to the A57, A58, A65 or A77?

Specs say the 37, 57, 58 and 65 are similar.  77 is different, but is back to the D7000 in size/weight and is probably does not fit our criteria.  Any increase in size/weight to the A37 needs to have big ROI to justify the increases.

So what is the downside to keeping the A37 for "special use" shooting and is there a better choice?  Our current assessment is the G is better on the Nex body as it is fast enough to stay on the EA2 for our shooting and still keep shutter speeds high enough to work out fine.

Any experience is appreciated.  Thanks in advance for any constructive assistance . . . .
